Acting
David Bamber is an English actor who has worked in television and theatre. He is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Bamber was born in Walkden, Lancashire, England. He studied drama at Bristol University, continuing his training at RADA where he won the Gold Medal in 1979. Bamber's early television work includes appearances in the BBC series "The Professionals" and "The Gentle Touch". He also starred in the BBC adaptation of Hanif Kureishi's novel "The Buddha of Suburbia". In 1995, Bamber won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor for his performance in the play...
